Motorist Assistance
NDOT offers the Freeway Service Patrol to provide free assistance to motorists with disabled vehicles and other issues. The Freeway Service Patrol operates along the I-15 from Russell Road to Craig Rd. Monday thru Friday, 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Highway Advisory Radio
Tune in to NDOT Highway Advisory Radio 1610! The Nevada Department of Transportation provides the NDOT Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) System for the Las Vegas area. The HAR broadcasts road information for motorists on AM frequency 1610. The HAR reaches from Craig Road in the north and Tropicana in the south along U.S. 95 and I-15. Additional transmitters are located near Blue Diamond and Jean. NDOT HAR's will keep motorists informed of road construction and traffic information on Nevada and Federal Highways in the region.
